An Overview of Garnet House
Located in a peaceful residential area of Wolverhampton, Garnet House offers a warm and welcoming environment for up to two young people aged 7–18. Our home has been thoughtfully designed to create a sense of comfort, stability, and belonging, helping every child feel at home from the moment they arrive.
We understand that every young person’s journey is unique. Many of the children we support have experienced trauma, disrupted attachments, or emotional and behavioural challenges. Our dedicated team works with compassion, patience, and understanding to build trusting relationships that help young people feel safe, heard, and supported.

A Therapeutic Approach to Care
At the heart of all our homes is a trauma-informed and therapeutic approach to care. Supported by our in-house clinical psychology team, we create personalised care plans tailored to each young person’s individual needs, strengths, and goals.
Our therapeutic model focuses on helping children to:
- Build positive and trusting relationships
- Develop emotional resilience and confidence
- Understand and manage difficult feelings
- Strengthen independence and life skills
- Celebrate achievements and personal progress
Our staff receive ongoing specialist training in therapeutic approaches, including PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy), ensuring every interaction is nurturing, supportive, and consistent.
