Our Jorney: Neve Skett’s Journey of Growth

18 September 2026

At Stepping Stones Care, our mission has always been clear: to provide the highest level of care and stability for the children and young people we support. And while recruiting great people is a vital part of that mission, what truly makes the difference is keeping them.

Consistency in a high-quality staff team is essential. Young people thrive on stability, familiar faces, and trusted relationships. When our team stays, grows, and continue to bring their passion to the role year after year, it strengthens the heart of our organisation and improves the outcomes for those in our care.

That’s why we launched our 5 Year Club, a loyalty bonus programme designed to recognise and reward the incredible commitment our team members show over time. It’s our way of saying thank you for choosing to build your journey with us, and for making Stepping Stones Care not just a workplace, but a community.

This year marks a special milestone for us as we celebrate our very first 5 Year Club member: James Moran, our Head of People and one of the very first people to join the Stepping Stones Care family. For half a decade, James has played a key role in shaping our culture, supporting our staff, and ensuring that our values are lived out every day. His dedication is a true testament to the passion and professionalism that define our team.

Thank you, James, for your unwavering commitment, not just to Stepping Stones Care, but to the young people whose lives we aim to change for the better.

As we continue to grow, we look forward to celebrating many more milestones, recognising the people who make our work possible, and building a future where every young person in our care has the consistent support they deserve.

Here’s to the next five years and to everyone who’s part of the Stepping Stones journey.
